Chaz Cardigan:

Artist Rebrand

Chaz Cardigan is a new and rising singer and songwriter who creates indie pop music with political undertones. Rebranding his social profiles and his most recent album was a project for my graphic design capstone, Portfolio. It took about a month from concept to reality using primarily Photoshop and Illustrator for the static images and After Effects for the video.

His grunge aesthetic tied into his analog crafting which consisted of collages or ripped paper. That is also seen in his music videos.

typography

Conveyed through his music, he is bold and fearless. His color palette was based on a dark green followed by a few other neutral colors. Stenciled styles were inspired by the collage and handmade feel that is communicated in his music videos.
