WHDH needed to visually communicate previews of upcoming news stories without spoiling the entire story while being easy to read and understand for all age groups.

Preview of a story about dogs reuniting with their owner. Format: BAM.

Preview of a story about a pedestrian getting hit on the highway. Format: PROJECTOR.

Preview of a story about Taylor Swift returning back to the stage after the possible terrorist attack was stopped. Format: BAM.

For each graphic made, about two to four images were merged for each graphic that corresponded to the title of the news story. I utilized Photoshop to make these images into one graphic. More images were used depending on textures or overlays. The typography would be changed in terms of sizing, formatting, boldness, and letter case for each graphic. Typefaces remained within WHDH's brand guidelines. Each graphic also remained within WHDH's graphic layouts. The images, type, and any overlays would be tied together in subtle ways of layering to keep the professional aesthetic and remain legible.
